Build Anticipation with NPC “?” Placeholder Update


What’s New

  • Per‑NPC Reveal Switch
    Each NPC entry gains a revealSwitchId field. While that switch is OFF, their portrait area displays a “?” placeholder instead of going blank. Flick the switch on, and their name, description, and heart meter appear as normal.

  • Placeholder Character
    We now draw a large, centered “?” in the portrait box (using ColorManager.textColor(0)) when the panel is locked.

Is there a way to make the? Box invisible? the reason I ask is because in my game, you have to recruit 9 out of 30 party members at the beginning of the game, and it's going to look silly if there is A: a black box or B: a bunch of NPC faces you won't even interact with in the game. To simplify, is there a way to only show the boxes of those you recruit?
